Woodland Wardens by Jessica Roux

Nature + Intuitive Wisdom

Shuffle the deck, draw a card, and let the Woodland Wardens reveal the insight you need today.

Created by New York Times bestselling illustrator Jessica Roux, Woodland Wardens is a beautifully illustrated 52-card oracle deck and guidebook inspired by the symbolism of woodland flora and fauna. Drawing from mythology, folklore, literature, and the natural world, each card pairs an animal with a plant to create its own symbolic message—the hare and the oak, the finch and the peach, the hawk and the thistle, and more.

I love this for learning to recognize the language of symbolism. Before you even open the guidebook, look at the animal. Look at the plant. Notice what immediately catches your attention. What do you already associate with them? What does your intuition know before you're told what the card is supposed to mean?

The deck is beautiful for:

✨ Intuitive Guidance — ask a question or simply pull the message you need for the day
✨ Animal + Plant Symbolism — explore the relationship between animals, plants, folklore, and archetypal meaning
✨ Daily Card Pulls — use one card as the energetic theme or reflection for your day
✨ Divination — use alone or alongside Tarot and other oracle decks
✨ Journaling + Reflection — allow the imagery and message to become a prompt for deeper self-exploration
✨ Nature Connection — deepen your awareness of the symbolism reflected through the natural world
✨ Meditation + Ritual — place a card on your altar or meditate with its imagery and message

Jessica Roux's intricate, historically evocative illustrations give the deck an almost old-world botanical and folkloric quality, making it just as beautiful to explore visually as it is to use intuitively.

Designed for both beginners and experienced readers, the accompanying guidebook offers additional interpretation for each pairing, allowing you to deepen the message after exploring your own intuitive response.

Includes:
• 52-card oracle deck
• Detailed companion guidebook
• Collectible boxed set
• Artwork and concept by Jessica Roux

Try This: Ask, “What is the natural world reflecting back to me today?” Pull one card. Before reaching for the guidebook, spend a moment with the imagery and write down the first three things you notice. Your interpretation is part of the reading.
